• I believe this census record is for Benjamin Schwartz's older half-brother Morris and his family, because many facts in the census form match the information given about Morris in Gladys (Schwartz) Kaminsky's family tree: his age (the Morris in the census form is age 40 in 1900, and Gladys wrote that Morris was born in 1860); the number of children (five); and the names of the children: two of the names here are the same as those given by Gladys (Bertha and Sarah), and the other three names are close: I.N., Wm (i.e., William), and Jacob here probably correspond to the Isidore, Will, and Jack listed by Gladys. Morris's wife's name in Gladys's family tree is Pepi (maiden name: Geiger), but this census form shows she was also known as Josephine.
