• This 1905 census form seems to show Benjamin Schwartz's father Herman [Ruth's grandfather], with his third wife Esther [Benjamin's stepmother] and their four children (Mary, Mollie, Samuel, and Hannah). The names of the four children match those in Gladys (Schwartz) Kaminsky's 1980 family tree. And the approximate year of birth of the youngest child, Hannah (about 1886) matches her year of birth in the marriage certificate for Hannah Schwartz and Jacob Weiss.
• However, the age given in this census form for Herman is 50. According to Gladys's family history, Herman was born in 1828; if that's correct, then in 1905 he would have been 76 or 77.
